Puerto Rican investigative journalist with Centro de Periodismo Investigativo (CPI). He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Pennsylvania State University and a juris doctor degree from the University of Puerto Rico. For the past seven years, his work has centered on Puerto Rico’s public debt and fiscal crisis. Most recently, he also participated in the Pandora Papers, an International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ) investigation. His work has been awarded by the Puerto Rico Press Association and the Overseas Press Club.
