Tracy Weber is the managing editor of the national staff at ProPublica. Weber was part of ProPublica’s original team in 2008, joining as a reporter from the Los Angeles Times. She became a senior editor in 2014, guiding work that garnered an array of top journalism honors, including the 2020 Pulitzer Prize for national reporting. In 2020, she became a deputy managing editor and was named managing editor in 2022. As a reporter at the Los Angeles Times, Weber won the Pulitzer Prize for public service in 2005 and was a finalist for the same award at ProPublica in 2010.
