Natalia Antelava

Natalia Antelava is a journalist and media entrepreneur. As co-founder and CEO of Coda Story, she leads an award-winning newsroom investigating the roots of global crises. A former BBC foreign correspondent, she reported from the Caucasus, Middle East, and Ukraine, working undercover in Uzbekistan, Burma and Yemen. Her investigations into human rights abuses have earned Emmy nominations and international awards. Through Coda Media and the international ZEG Festival she co-founded, Antelava’s work spans podcasts, live journalism experiences, and multimedia storytelling. As a 2024 John S. Knight Fellow at Stanford, she explores how quality journalism can maintain relevance in an age of algorithmic division.
