Lynette Clemetson directs the Wallace House Center for Journalists, Knight-Wallace Fellowships and Livingston Awards at the University of Michigan. She was previously senior director of strategy and content initiatives at NPR, guiding projects across broadcast, digital and events. Prior to working in journalism strategy, she was a domestic correspondent for the New York Times and a correspondent for Newsweek, based in Washington D.C and Hong Kong. She serves on the boards of the global investigative collaborative Forbidden Stories; the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press; and the advisory council of PBS Frontline.
