Jason Dean is an award-winning journalist with more than 25 years of experience, most recently as global technology editor at The Wall Street Journal.
During his 9 years directing coverage of the tech industry, his team produced numerous investigative series and was recognized with multiple Loebs and other major prizes.
He previously spent 4 years as the Journal’s Chicago bureau chief, running coverage of food, aviation and manufacturing. He joined the Journal in 1999 as a newswires reporter in Beijing, then served as its correspondent in Taiwan. After returning to Beijing in 2005, he became China News Editor, helping run a team that won the 2007 Pulitzer Prize in International Reporting and the 2010 Overseas Press Club Award for best business reporting.
Jason earned a degree in East Asian Studies from Harvard University.
