Steve Stecklow is a Bay Area-based global investigative reporter with Reuters who previously worked at the Wall Street Journal and the Philadelphia Inquirer. He has won numerous awards, including sharing three Pulitzer Prizes (2024, 2019 and 2007), has been a Pulitzer finalist three times (2020, 2017 and 2003) and has won or shared four George Polk awards.

His investigative projects have includes a series of investigations of Elon Musk and Tesla, a probe into Facebook’s failure to combat hate speech in Myanmar, a series on U.S. college admissions fraud, and a series on how Iran’s Supreme Leader secretly controls a multi-billion-dollar corporate empire. He has also taught investigative journalism at Boston University, Emerson College and Temple University.

In his spare time, he likes to go fly fishing.
