Jimmy Tobias is a co-founder of Public Domain, an investigative news desk focused on public lands, wildlife and government. He is also a contributing writer at The Guardian and The Nation. He primarily covers public lands and wildlife issues and investigates corruption at the U.S. Interior Department. His work has also appeared in The New York Times, The Intercept, Outside, High Country News and numerous other outlets. He is a former trail worker for the U.S. Forest Service.
