Asia Fields

Asia Fields is an engagement reporter at ProPublica working on community-driven investigations. She’s collaborated across the newsroom and with local reporting partners on projects about education, homeless encampment sweeps and the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act. After she worked with the Idaho Statesman to crowdsource data on the condition of school buildings across the state, lawmakers approved $2 billion for repairs. She previously worked at The Seattle Times, where her reporting on Title IX led to a state law requiring schools to share information about employee misconduct.
