Rebecca Ballhaus

Rebecca’s work includes investigations into conflicts of interest across the government, the role of money in politics and abuse at federal agencies.

She was part of the team that won the 2019 Pulitzer Prize for National Reporting for revealing Donald Trump’s role in payoffs to women during his campaign. In 2023, she led a team that won the Pulitzer Prize for Investigative Reporting for a series that revealed that thousands of federal officials owned stock in companies their agencies oversaw.
