Mukta Joshi

Mukta Joshi is an investigative reporter for Mississippi Today and a Local Investigations Fellow with The New York Times, covering law enforcement and the justice system in the state. She has a master’s degree from Columbia Journalism School and a law degree from the National Law School of India University, Bengaluru. Her reporting has led to state investigations, a parliamentary question, and received a Collier Award for Ethics in Journalism and an FAC Free Speech & Open Government Award.
