Martine Powers is a journalist based in Washington, D.C. For seven years, she hosted The Washington Post’s flagship daily news podcast, “Post Reports.” She also reported the Peabody Award-winning investigative series, “The Empty Grave of Comrade Bishop,” about the 1983 U.S. invasion of Grenada and the mystery of the prime minister’s missing remains. Martine’s work has been recognized by the Online News Association, the Webby Awards, the Ambies, and the National Association of Black Journalists.
