Kimi Yoshino is Managing Editor at The Washington Post, overseeing National, Features, Local, Investigations and Data. Previously, she was the founding editor-in-chief of The Baltimore Banner, which was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Local Reporting in 2025 and became Maryland’s largest newsroom. She also spent 20 years at the Los Angeles Times, including as managing editor, and helped lead coverage of corruption in Bell, CA, earning the Pulitzer Prize for Public Service in 2011.
