Heather Schroering is an award-winning investigative reporter, producer and cofounder of No Smiling. After completing her graduate studies at Columbia, she transitioned from print to audio, producing several chart-topping podcasts for Wondery (Joe Exotic, WeCrashed). Many podcasts Heather produced have been released as TV series. She cofounded No Smiling, a studio specializing in spectacle-laden stories, in 2022. In partnership with Bloomberg, No Smiling launched Disclosure, a show about FOIA.
